APATHY SAVES WHAT ANXIETY SPENDS.

Apathy gets a bad reputation.
People hear the word and think indifference. Laziness. Detachment. Not giving a damn about anyone or anything.
That isn't what we're talking about.
ApathySaves is selective attention.
It is knowing the difference between what actually deserves your care and what is merely demanding it.
Care about your people.
Care about your health.
Care about your responsibilities.
Care about truth.
Care about the promises you chose to make.
Be far less impressed by everything trying to interrupt them.
Not caring less about everything. Caring more deliberately about what matters.
Not everything deserves your reaction. Your attention is finite. Treat it like it matters.
Protect what matters from what doesn't. Your people, health, responsibilities, principles, and promises deserve something better than your leftovers.
Apathy should protect your attention—not protect you from responsibility. There is a difference between refusing to carry what does not belong to you and refusing to carry anything uncomfortable.
Not every demand deserves a response.
Not every opinion deserves consideration.
Not every crisis deserves your chest.
Not every disappointed person deserves your surrender.
CARE MORE DELIBERATELY.
Less guilt. Less explaining. Less giving a damn about things that don't deserve your energy.
